SWAMI VIVEKANDA

Introduction: -
                      Swami Vivekananda was a superman of India with a strong mind. The real name of Vivekananda was narendranath dutta.  His nick name was biley. Parents fondingly called him Bile. He was reckless, spirited and showed signs of greatness from his boyhood.
Born and Family: - Narendranath dutta was born on 12th January, 1863, at Simla, in Kolkata. His father Biswanath Dutta was a renowned lawyer. His mother‘s name was Bhubaneswar Devi, A pious lady.

Education: - 
                             He was a student of metropolitan school and he passed matriculation Examination in first Division in 1880. Thereafter, He admitted Scottish Church College for higher education, Calcutta in 1881. He was B.A. Hons in philosophy in 1884. 

Change of Life: - 
                                       at that time he come in contact with Ramakrishna Paramahansa at Daskhineswar in temple of “Ma-Kali”. This was the turning point of his life. Soon after he became the disciple of Ramakrishna and become ‘Sannyasi’ and he came to be known as Swami Vivekananda.

His Contributions: -
                                               In 1886 Ramakrishna passed away.  In same year he toured the whole of India. He travelled all over India on foot. He travelled all over India to get the knowledge about the people of India. He went Chicago as per advice of Ramakrishna to attend the religious conference of all world. He got the opportunity to deliver religious lecture. He said there, “My dear brothers and sister of America “. He said about Hinduism and morality. He become famous of all world for his depth of knowledge. He established Ramakrishna Math and missions in 1897. Belur-Math in1899, the western bank of the river Hooghly is a famous one. He was a selfless patriot. He was a lover of human beings and a man of letters


Death: -

                   This great man passed away on July 4, 1902 only at the age 39 causing a great loss to the world of religion and humanity. Bu the will be ever remembered by the people of the world irrespective ‘of caste and religion. His Life is my lesson.
